It has to be said that while the stock "Roundagon" rotor that comes with the Avid BB7 does the job, there are occasions when it is rather lacking in performance.

The Roundagon does tend to lack heat dissapation abilities on lengthy downhills. And at the risk of being vain they don't really look all that great either.

I replaced my disc rotors with Clean Sweeps and have found them to perform much better than the original Roundagon rotors, with the added bonus that they look a lot better too. Many other people report having great experiences using Alligator Serration rotors too. The Alligators are also incredibly light and are the weight weenies friend.
